Celine Dion's Jupiter Island Mansion - HUGE Pool

Celine Dion has a RIDICULOUS POOL at her Jupiter, Florida Mansion!

Dion's Jupiter Island house, which was built in 1963, has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.  At 6,859 square feet, it's much smaller than the pop diva is accustomed to, although the property includes a 1,700-square-foot guest house built in 1985. The pool has got to be bigger and worth as much as the entire house!  If Dion intends to build a new home on the site, Jupiter Island laws discourage mega-mansions such as the diva's Lake Las Vegas compound in Henderson, Nev.

My favourite thing this week

One of my weekly guilty pleasures is tuning in to watch High Society on the CW channel.  Anything that combines New York and socialite in the same sentence makes me want to watch!  Yes it is like watching a train wreck at times but I can't take my eyes off the screen.  The show is based on Tinsley Mortimer (socialite) and her life.  Although when I say her life I mean her scripted "life" for the show.  She has a great loft in Midtown Manhattan and last night we got a glimpse of her closet.  I fell in love with the bold pink floral wallpaper!! I am not normally a huge pink fan but what better place than in a fabulous walk in closet.

Not into pink?  What about blue?

Sex and the City 2

I don't know what I am more excited about, the fashion or the interiors!  I have seen some images of the movie starting to pop up on the web and I wanted to share them with you.  Whether you are a Carrie, Samantha, Miranda or Charlotte I think we can all appreciate the great fashion.  I myself am a huge Carrie fan and she can do no wrong in my eyes when it comes to her fashion sense.  I wish I could wear half the things she does but for some reason it doesn't translate to my lifestyle in the burbs!

My Favourite thing this week

I came across this bench at one of my favourite home decor stores in Vancouver called The Cross.  It is filled with all sorts of beautiful items.  A great place to pick up a gift for someone or to buy a large piece of furniture with an array of fabrics to choose from.  If you live in the Vancouver area and haven't been or if you are just visiting then you must go check it out!

Wouldn't this look great in a foyer or at the end of a bed?

Sarah's House Living room

Okay, Sarah has redeemed herself.  Loving the living room!  Love the orange walls with grass cloth and all the hits of color throughout the room.  It looks cozy but sophisticated at the same time and her signature mix of color and fabric looks fab.

P.S. When did Vino become so buff??

Adorable illustrations

I came across some sweet illustrations while perusing Etsy this weekend.  One in particular caught my eye because it looked exactly like my daughter.  They are so innocent and sweet and would look great in any little girls room.  You can check out her website at http://www.belleandboo.com/.

This is Belle (who looks like my daughter!)

Sarah's House Dining room

Hmmm..... not sure on this one.  There were certain elements I liked about this room but not what I expected from Sarah.  I wasn't a big fan of the fabric wallpaper, I don't mind fabric on the walls just not the one she picked.  The print seemed a little old fashioned to me and I didn't love the colors.  I really liked the chandelier and how she dressed the table.  I also thought the bench seat and draperies were great.  How do you feel about it?

Lacquer love

Every time I am shopping for myself or a client and I come across lacquer boxes I always stop and admire.  I don't know what it is, is it the smooth finish, the delicious colors or the great organization that would occur if I purchased these lovely little boxes?
