The Latest on the Champ d'Or - The Purchase, The New Owner, and The New Plans!

The Champ d'Or has officially been sold after years of roller coasting on the market!  As many news outlets have reported and confirmed, a private family-run company called the Tabani Group has purchased the estate at 1851 Turbeville Road.  Under the new name of 'T. Chateau Event Center LLC' acquired from the Texas Secretary of Treasury in April of 2012, the sale was complete on April 30, 2012.  

According to their website, the Tabani Group "owns more than 2 million sq. ft of properties in multiple markets throughout the United States" including shopping centers, development projects, hotels, and office buildings.  The billion dollar company operates out of an office in Dallas at 16600 Dallas Parkway. 

Who knows what the Tabani Group will do with the newly bought mega mansion.  It is reported that the new home may just be turned into a luxurious club!  

Zaffar Tabani is the President of the Tabani Group and lives in this 8,664 sq. foot home on Yorkville Court in Dallas.
