Filming Locations: Say Anything (1989)

Say Anything... is a 1989 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Cameron Crowe. It was Crowe's directorial debut. In 2002, Entertainment Weekly ranked Say Anything... as the greatest modern movie romance, and it was ranked number 11 on Entertainment Weekly's list of the 50 best high-school movies.
The film follows the relationship between Lloyd Dobler (John Cusack), an average student, and Diane Court (Ione Skye), the valedictorian, immediately after their graduation from high school (Wikipedia).
The locations for this film have already been found at the wonderful filming location websites below with some of them also include the Seattle locations. This post would not be possible without their excellent research so please check them out and support their cause.

The rumor is that the Seattle locations were filmed with a second unit and not the actual actors. The Seattle scenes with the actors may have been filmed in LA, so if the rumor is true, its possible that the other unidentified locations shown in this film were possibly filmed in the SFV.
Lloyd and Diane are walking out of a 7-11 at 11340 Magnolia Blvd North Hollywood 91601 CA.

The infamous boom box scene was filmed across from the 7-11 shown above at North Hollywood Park at the corner of Magnolia Blvd and Tujunga Avenue on 11455 Magnolia Blvd North Hollywood 91601. This park was also use for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure

Diane and Lloyd drop off Mike at home which is located at 4936 Sunnyslope Avenue Sherman Oaks 91423.

Diane and Lloyd driving home after dropping off Mike. Not sure of this location but possibly in the SFV area.

After Diane breaks up with Lloyd, she is driving extremely fast down Riverside Drive and Bob Hope Drive with the 134 Freeway and NBC lot seen in the background.

The dojo where Lloyd breaks his nose is located at 5223 Lankershim Blvd North Hollywood CA 91601 which formerly was Jun Chong Tae Kwon Do but now is a Body Theory. This location was also used in The Karate Kid and The Last Dragon.
