Fashion House ~ Stone Cold Fox

Fashion label, Stone Cold Fox was born by life long friends and Californian, beach girls - designer and Creative Marketing Director Cydney Morris and Product Manager and Collection Rep Dallas Wand.

The girls recently moved to Venice Beach and their home is every bit like the boho fashion empire they have created for themselves. I love the simplicity of the home with it's edge of boho chic.

Fashion House - Jenni Kayne

This week over at Our Little Place we are celebrating American Fashion Designers At Home as our Book of the Week. One of the designers included in the book is Jenni Kayne and her Los Angeles home. I loved what I saw, I wanted to share more on her home as it is simply gorgeous.

The five bedroom home in Beverly Hills has crisp white walls with generous amounts of wood and stone. It is modern but still has a warmth and cosiness that makes it a family home.

Fashion Home - Steven Meisel

When I think of Steven Meisel and what his home would look like, this is just not what I thought it would be. I pictured somewhere in New York, a very dark home with a very eclectic style. Luxurious fabrics like red velvet and gold embroidery.  But by looking at these images ... I was so wrong!

This is famed fashion photographer, Steven Meisel's LA home. The mid century 1953 George McLean home has been completely restored and renovated by Meisel with the help of architect firm Marmol Radziner + Asscociates and interior designer Brad Dunning, both recommended by his friend and uber stylish, Tom Ford.

Earlier this year Meisel put the 6,300 sqft, 3 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on the market for $13 million. He paid a reported $2.5 million for it in 2000.

Well designed library with beautiful walnut bookshelves

Walnut cabinetry with beautiful marble back splash and counter top

The bench at the end of the bed houses the pop-up TV

A combined office / master bath in green onyx

Mr Meisel with just a few models!

What do you think of his home? I can see some very chic cocktail parties being held here that is for sure.

Megan Hess - Fashion House

This week over at Our Little Place I've had a chat to Illustrator Megan Hess
in the People Behind The Book series.

Megan has collected her beautiful illustrations for her book aptly titled Fashion House
and it is the perfect fit for the Our Little Place book shop.

Megan is such a beautiful lady and her work is gorgeous so I wondered
(like most interior obsessed people) what Megan's home would be like.
So after a little investigation I came across this ...

Megan's home is a converted church in Melbourne where she lives with
her architect husband and two young children.

It gets even better as we go into her closet ...

Please pop over and read about Megan in People Behind The Book.

If you'd like to shop for Fashion House, pop over here to the Our Little Place Book Shop.
