Christmas Inspiration

Back from my mini holidays. Had a joyful time and there was no way I could sit down and make a post. So, here we are again and, oh my gosh, it's October! Time to start thinking about Christmas, don't you agree? Let's do so by visiting this home in France, decorated in greens and silvery tones. Hope some of the images inspire you.

She is one of the 125 top American Designers and she says that she teases classical and modern elements into elegant harmony. Well that could be my quote too. Here is some of her gorgeous work, and one of my favourites is her daughter's lilac bedroom.

Investor David Weinreb Completes Mansion in north Dallas - Updated!

Recently updated images show that David Weinreb has completed his mansion in north Dallas at 5530 N. 40th Place and Frankford.  The multi-level sweeping estate includes a breathtaking main living home, pool with moon shaped cabana, porte cochere, motor court with multiple parking garage bays and spaces, tennis/basketball court, walking trails, courtyard, and more.  It was brought to my attention by a comment on this article that the home is actually listed under Collin County's Central Appraisal District.  According to their records, total sq. footage of this estate is 14,628 sq. feet.  The home sits on an exclusive lot at the corner of N. 40th Place and Frankford Road.  Weinreb's estate features a variety of exterior amenities, as you can probably tell from the photos.  This estate has been under construction for a while.  Glad to see it has been completed!

Celebrity Rooms - Rachel Zoe's new house in LA

 Today we are back to Sunday's routine with the usual 'Celebrity Rooms'. This time with the very recent new home of the famous Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger, in Los Angeles. In fact she not only has an eye for fashion styling, but also for house styling! Imagine that the entire renovation was designed and supervised by the new assistant Jeremiah, who will be part of the program in the new series 'Rachel Zoe's Project'! No way... the boy is tallented ..

Hoje temos mais um 'Celebrity Rooms', que está de volta à rotina dos domingos. Desta vez com a nova e recentíssima casa, da famosa Rachel Zoe e do seu Marido Rodger, em Los Angeles. De facto ela não só tem olho para o Styling de moda, mas também para o Styling da casa!! Imaginem que a remodelação foi toda pensada e supervisionada pelo novo assistente Jeremiah, que vai fazer parte na nova série do programa 'Rachel Zoe's Project' !! Tem jeito o rapaz..

love the fact that everything else is modern but they kept fireplace mantel in the original wood

Quite a diferent baby bedroom (for European style at least...) but I like it!
