Good morning treasures. Thanks for your comments regarding the pink kitchen in yesterday's post. I love knowing that some of you have even had a pink kitchen!
We are enjoying a long Easter holiday here in Peru. A rather grey day but beautiful nevertheless. Today's tour is a lovely French inspired South African home.

JUSTIN BIEBER: BUY A NEW MANSION AT CALABASAS

A 9000 square foot mansion for Justin Bieber to be haggled by the mayor of Calabasas to settle there.
Justine signed the deal for an amount of $6 million above but the owner of the mansion wanted a huge amount of $ 7.5 million and after a negotiating he find it. But end of June he will receive the keys from the owner.

Mary Sue Maurer (The Mayor of Calabasas) welcome Justine Bieber warmly and just said, “ Justin is most welcome to Calabasas and his privacy and security should be given just not everyone”

“In his mansion there are two gate, those are used for her guest and security” said to his property caretaker

Real Estate Snitch Wednesday's-Ashton Kutcher

Hello Friends, its Real Estate Snitch Wednesday's
and I have some updated news for you. Remember that house I reported about
Justin Bieber on the snitch a few weeks ago? Yea that house!! Well scrap that.
The script has been flipped; literally, apparently the new owner of that house
is none other than Mr. Kutcher himself. See here is the situation. Kutcher

Renovated Townhouse in England

This 16th-century house in Essex was renovated by Elizabeth Lloyd-Day and her husband Carl and won the Best Townhouse category in Period Living Readers’ Awards 2010.
I have posted nearly 500 house tours on Inspiring Interiors but this is the first time I've seen an all pink kitchen. Quite unusual but I think it looks pretty, feminine and romantic. However, I can't imagine my husband and 5 sons feeling comfortable in it! Would you paint your kitchen pink? I'd love to know what you think!

Restaurant Project - Part I Instalation *** Projecto Restaurante - Parte I Instalação

Hello blog friends! I'm back Home!
 A few months ago the dearest Family came to me for some help. They owned a quite known restaurant up in the North of Portugal (it's actually a wedding events property with an on site restaurant), at Braga.

The restaurant was 18 years old and in real need for some help. The place is about 400 square metres and the biggest problem, low ceilings for what the law requires in a restaurant these days. They had to fix this problem, I had to fix a low budget project! Here are some pictures of installation. Tomorrow I will show you the 'before and after' pictures.

Olá Amigos do Blog! Estou de volta a Lisboa! 

Há alguns meses atrás uma Adorável família do Norte veio até ao meu atelier. Procuravam ajuda para projectar a reconstrução de um restaurante bastante antigo em Braga, com 18 anos e mais precisamente situado numa quinta de eventos e casamentos. O espaço tinha 400 metros quadrados de pé direito demasiado baixo, para o que a lei exige num restaurante, e muitos outros problemas a resolver. Eles precisavam de resolvê-los, e eu precisava de fazer um projecto com um orçamento controlado! Aqui ficam algumas fotos das montagens e das obras. Amanhã mostro-vos as fotos do antes e depois.

It was an amazing reconstruction done in 2 months by an amazing team. They are not the 'Queridos' from the tv shows team but I tell you, they are quite awesome too!

Esta fabulosa reconstrução não foi uma obra dos Queridos do Querido, mas foi feita por uns grandes Queridos de Braga, que a executaram em apenas 2 meses. Acreditem que foi em tempo record porque estes 400m de restaurante estavam assim há precisamente 2 meses.

I so wanted to keep the ceiling slatted wooden structure that they raised all 400 square feet of roof with hydraulic jacks and turnbuckles to be able to add about 1 meter to the right foot. Very impressive.

Eu queria tanto manter a estrutura ripada em madeira que eles levantaram todos os 400 metros quadrados de telhado com macacos hidráulicos e esticadores para poder acrescentar cerca de 1 metro ao pé direito. Impressionante

Heidi Klum is the current host of Project Runway, filmed at the “Parsons The New School for Design”. She has been featured on the covers of Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire, and became widely known after appearing on the cover of the “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue” and for her work with Victoria's Secret as an "Angel".

 Her other projects include dance and video games. She is featured in the 2006 James Bond video game Everything or Nothing, wherein she plays the villain Dr. Katya Nadanova.In December 2004, Klum became the host, executive producer and judge of the reality show “Project Runway” on the U.S. cable television channel Bravo, in which fashion designers compete for the opportunity to show their line at New York Fashion Week and take money to performed their own fashion line. She achieved an Emmy Award nomination for the show for each of the first four seasons

Soft Palette in the Suburbs

Today's tour is a home in the suburbs of Barcelona in Spain. A mix of old and new and a soft palette throughout the house.
