It's allways a 'wow moment' when we find our work recognized by people from the other side of the world! 

This time my office featured in the South Asian Zardozi Magazine, an article about office details and next to one of my reference decorators Kishani Perera! Zardozi is a beautifully done online project worth the visit (here).

É sempre um 'momento wow' quando vemos o nosso trabalho reconhecido por pessoas que são do outro lado do mundo!! 

Desta vez foi o meu escriório na Revista Zardozi, num artigo sobre detalhes num escritório, e mesmo ao lado de um trabalho da Kishani Perera, uma das minhas referências na decoração. Wow! Zardozi é um projecto online muito bem feito e que valo e pena visitar (aqui).

Our Family Christmas Photoshoot For Caras Magazine * A Produção de Natal da Nossa Família Para a Revista Caras

Better than any Christmas postcard photos was this Caras Magazine photo shoot taken with the assistance of an amazing team who made this cold winter afternoon warm with laughter.

I'm soo in love with this first photo you can't imagine because it really shows the spirit of the whole afternoon.

A special thanks to the Caras team and the guys at Skinlife for their professionalism, friendliness and good humor. They definitely made the dress/undress, go up and down, put on coat/take off coat, part of the funniest moments.

Melhor do que qualquer postal de Natal, são estas fotos tiradas pela equipa da Caras na produção de Natal deste ano. Adooooro esta primeira com o meu filho pois os risos e a boa disposição foi o espírito que aqueceu uma fria tarte de sábado no Castelo do Crato. 

Um agradecimento especial à equipa da Caras e da Skinlife, pelo profissionalismo, simpatia e boa disposição e que fizeram com que o despe e veste, sobe e desce, põe casaco tira casaco fossem parte dos momentos mais engraçados da tarde.

My Work on Apartment Therapy Twice?!! That is Too Nice! * O Meu Trabalho no 'Apartment Therapy', Duas Vezes?!... Que Bela novidade!

I would be nothing without my beloved blog & facebook followers who are so kind to send me links of stuff I missed like this  Apartment Therapy post, where my work was mentioned in a post about 'modern pastels'. I never even dreamed that they knew my work! ...

Thanks to Apartment Therapy and Janel Laban, the author of the article, to included me in an article that talks about how to use pastels in a modern way. If you ask me what my style is I guess that's what I am! A pastels modern girl! ... Well... let's say I also die over anything Art-Deco, have a secret passion for Hollywood Regency, and a major crush over classic female romantic pieces...

O que seria eu sem as minhas seguidoras queridas do Blog e do Facebook, que me dão estas novidades fabulosas! Eu nem tinha visto, mas uma seguidora atenta mandou-me um link do Apartment Therapy, onde mencionam o meu trabalho num post sobre 'modern pastels'. Para quem não conhece, o Apartment Therapy foi fundado em 2004, e é um dos sites de decoração e lifestyle mais influente da web. Eu nem sonhava que eles conheciam o meu trabalho!...

Obrigada ao Apartment Therapy e à Janel Laban, a autora do artigo, por me ter incluído num artigo que fala de dicas dos tons pastel em estilo moderno. Se me perguntarem qual é o meu estilo eu acho que é isso mesmo que eu sou! Uma moderna em tons pastel!... My Christmas 2012 in the Magazine - O meu Natal de 2012 na Caras.

This is this year's Christmas decoration and it was and photographed for the article of Caras magazine. Predominates the mixture of gold and silver, the double glow we all need this Christmas that can be perfectly mixed in the same context. On the table there is a lot of green and why not mix some favorite family pieces. Although I'm a great advocate of the green tree this year I choose white as a symbol of peace. What do you think?!

Esta foi a decoração de Natal montada em minha casa este ano e fotografada para o artigo da Revista Caras.  Predomina a mistura do dourado e prateado, o duplo brilho que todos precisamos neste Natal que pode perfeitamente ser misturado no mesmo contexto. Para a mesa também apostei em misturar muito verde (natural e buxos naturais preservados), peças favoritas e peças simbólicas de família. Embora seja grande defensora da árvore verde, este ano é branca como símbolo de paz. Espero que gostem!

photographed at the store 1 week before.
Why in the world I look so bad, on the one on the right, for God sake!?!
Did they expand the photo, as it was a double page article because I look like I have two noses, 10 years more and 40 pounds more!!
Well at least the article is nicely written by Marta Mesquita, Rita Vilhena, was very help full with the production and my boy is absolutely Gorgeous in that big boy pose!... ;)))

Tenho de partilhar isto convosco. A foto da esquerda foi tirada, à porta da loja, 1 semana antes da da direita, e porque raio parece que tenho 
2 narizes de largura, mais 10 anos e mais 10 kilos??!! 

Será que expandiram a foto por ser um artigo de página dupla??!!
A da esquerda sou eu sim, a da direita devo ser eu num dia em que me levantei,
 mas a fotogenia ficou na cama!!...
Bom para compensar o artigo escrito pela Marta Mesquita e a ajuda na produção da Rita Vilhena ficaram lindamente e o meu filho Martim está lindo!... ;)))

Good morning everyone! 

I've been in a crazy working schedule and it will last a few more days but I don't want to leave you so many days with no news so at least I can show you the latest news and the two articles from my work at the press, this month. I have so many mails to answer, a project for the show due in 2 weeks, a store to open and so many things to keep up after coming from vacation that I started the 12 hours work a day routine (really!) already! But I forget the hours when I'm working and love what I do so why complaining right?

Tenho tantos mails para responder, um projecto para fazer no querido em 2 semanas, uma loja para abrir e tanta coisa para fazer, depois de voltar de férias que já entrei na rotina das 12 horas de trabalho por dia (mesmo!!). J'adore ADORE MAGAZINE -

Today I woke up feeling miserable with a very sore throat and running a fever. It was one of those days you tend to feel very sorry for yourself and don't dare look at the mirror. Few things could make me feel better and happy but I guess this was sure one of them! I started getting messages from other blogger saying YOU ARE ON ADORE MAGAZINE!... So there I was and minutes latter I didn't even remember I was ill!! Loved the lay out. They've done a great job!! Thank you Adore and thank Loni.

Hoje acordei péssima, com dores de garganta e febre. É nestes dias que temos tendência para termos pena de nós próprios, e nem nos atrevemos a olhar o espelho. Posto este miserável estado, poucas coisas me fazem sentir bem ou feliz, mas pelos vistos esta foi uma delas porque minutos depois já nem me lembrava da gripe! Logo de manhã comecei a receber mensagens de bloggers amigas americanas a dizer; Estás na revista 'Adore'. E pois estava! Adorei o lay out e este é mais um motivo de orgulho internacional para mim porque para quem não conhece a Adore é uma revista de decoração Australiana, bem conhecida neste meio dos blogues!  Obrigada Adore e Loni.
