Celebrity Homes: Querido Home Styling Store

It all started eight years ago with an uncontrollable urge to make people happy in their homes. During 8 years we have changed the lives of many people but today, the brand 'Querido' was born beyond the TV show! A store was born and it couldn't be born in a more special day! on a 23 of February. The TV Show was born March 23 - I call it my eldest son. My son Martin was born September 23. My blog was also born on February 23 - my third child. And today, July 23 - my youngest baby was born - the Querido Homestyling Store!

A year ago or even dreamed of the idea of having a store. I always thought it was too much work to reconcile with the management of a television producing company, the recording of the tv show and my clients projects. I kind of always thought of an online store in order to reach all the people who are out of Lisbon and that are fans of the tv show. In February this year I was offered the opportunity to keep a space next to my office building that, although small, was logistically ideal for us.

Now when the universe puts great opportunities in front of our nose, we have to follow the signs, and we have to follow them and believe that everything will go well.

You can imagine the rest of the story... The last 6 months were work, work, decisions, designing a collection and create a concept that would reflect the spirit of the Tv Show and create a store that will have the brand and name of the show beyond the show itself. So we created the store claim;

Tudo começou há 8 anos atrás com uma vontade incontrolável de fazer pessoas felizes. Durante 8 anos mudámos as vidas de muitas pessoas mas hoje, a marca Querido nasceu para além do programa de televisão! Foi num dia 23 de Fevereiro, que eu nasci. Foi a 23 de Março que nasceu o Querido Mudei a Casa - o meu filho mais velho. Foi a 23 de Setembro que nasceu o meu filho Martim. Foi a 23 de Fevereiro que nasceu o meu terceiro filho - o meu blog. E hoje, a 23 de Julho - nasceu o meu bebé mais novo - a Querido Homestyling Store!

Há um ano atrás nem sonhava com a ideia de ter uma loja. Sempre achei que dava muito trabalho para conciliar com a gestão de uma produtora de televisão, as gravações do programa e os meus projectos, no entanto sempre pensávamos numa loja online, para poder chegar a todas as pessoas que estão fora de Lisboa e era um projecto que estava em curso e que se vai concretizar muito em breve. Em Fevereiro deste ano foi-nos quase oferecida a oportunidade de ficar com um espaço que embora pequeno, é logisticamente ideal para nós.

Ora, quando o universo nos coloca grandes oportunidades à frente do nariz, devemos estar atentos, seguir os sinais, acreditar que tudo vai correr bem e seguir em frente.

Os últimos 6 meses foram de obras, decisões, desenhar uma colecção e criar um conceito que espelhasse o espírito do programa. Foi assim que nasceu a frase que será a assinatura de da loja;

Os seus amigos vão certamente dizer; "até parece que o Querido esteve cá em casa!"...
