I met Debra from Huston - Texas, when she in a polite gesture of pure blogging ethics, sent me an email asking to use one of our wallpaper patterns as the background of Classica Decor blog. Since then we've exchanged emails a few times, to the point of sharing the immense joy when I heard she was going to live in Miami, a city I like so much, as you know by now !
The Blog Classica Decor is from Debra and Dafna and is about 10 years old, a real classic of blogging! For although I did not dream what a blog was, and now these ladies dominated this fascinating world of sharing design information.
That said, it was an honor to receive an email from Debra, this time asking permission to make a post about my work.
The truth is I'm always extra proud that my work be praised by people who do not know me from anywhere, and never heard about our show. Notice that these girls do not know the Querido Mudei a Casa phenomenon, or intersect me on the street ... not even know that I'm the emotional one that cries with the others happiness, or who was recording the show with an huge 9 months pregnant belly, or that I'm always trying to convince the construction workers on the show to 'let's do another room in this house'... Anyway all things that people mention when they come to me on the street...

Conheci a Debra de Huston - Texas, quando ela num gesto educado e de pura ética, me enviou um mail a pedir para usar um dos padrões dos nossos papéis de parede, como fundo do seu blog Classica Decor. Desde então que trocamos mails, ao ponto de partilhar da imensa alegria dela quando soube que ela ía viver para Miami, uma cidade que como sabem gosto assim um bocadi...dinhoooo, ok MUITO!
O Blog Classica Decor é da dupla Debra & Dafna e existe há cerca de 10 anos, ou seja um verdadeiro clássico dos blogs! Pois ainda eu não sonhava o que era um blog, e já estas senhoras dominavam este fascinante mundo da partilha de informação.
Posto isto, foi uma honra para mim receber um mail da Debra, desta vez a pedir autorização para fazer um post sobre o meu trabalho.
A verdade é que fico sempre com extra orgulho pelo facto de o meu trabalho ser elogiado por pessoas que não me conhecem de lado nenhum, e também por ouvir falar do Querido e de Portugal. Reparem que estas pessoas não conhecem o fenómeno Querido Mudei a Casa, nem se cruzam comigo na rua... nem sabem que eu sou uma chorona do pior ou que andava a gravar com um barrigão de 9 meses de gravidez, que estou sempre a partir paredes ou a convencer os Querido a fazer mais uma divisãozinha... Enfim tudo coisas que me dizem quando me abordam na rua...
Estas senhoras são umas grandes Queridas que se dedicam à decoração há muitos anos e que adoram o que fazem, por isso o mínimo que podemos fazer é seguir o link AQUI até ao blog delas e deixar um comentário, nem que seja para agradecer o mostrarem um pouco do trabalho dos Portugueses lá fora!
