Well, I was going to name the post "Inside the Gates..." but I just learned Willow Bend is NOT gated.  I sense a road trip this summer...

Willow Bend is no amateur luxury real estate spot for Plano.  It's been known throughout the growing city as one of the most prestigious areas in Collin County.  Here are three notable homes in Willow Bend!

5504 Cavendish Court
This palatial estate is just over 14,500 sq. feet and includes a circle drive, 3 car garage, and personal walking track (a common amenity these days).  It's featured on a cul-de-sac and backs up to White Rock Creek.  The 2011 appraisal was just under $4.5 million.

2104 Willow Bend Drive

This incredible 14,702 sq. footer is the third house on the right near the front of the community.  The home includes 4+ car garage, porte cochere, pool with cabana, tennis court, playground, walking track, and (rumors have it) a 6,000 sq. foot entertainment wing.  The owner was the founder of ConferenceCall.com

Here is the 11,846 sq. foot ranch styled home of two north Texan attorneys.  The estate is spread over 3 acres including a pool, 6 car garage, and lots of elbow room!

Where I Want To Stay in ... Bali

When I think of travel to Bali, I think of the rustic Balinese villas to stay in. 

Beautiful and resorty, yes but my type, no!

A friend of mine got back from Bali this week (being in Perth it is very easy to get 3 hour plane ride over to Bali YAY !!) and she stayed at the W Retreat and Spa - Seminyak and said it was great.

The interiors are modern with hits of colour.

Clean and fresh - the perfect environment for me to relax and enjoy.
