Ornate Mansion Across from Rogers Elementary in Frisco Still Incomplete
It's a home that has been under construction for years. The 7,391 sq. foot home at 10701 Rogers Road sits right across from Rogers Elementary School and has been under construction since 2007, and its not even complete! WFAA compiled a story on the home back in May of 2010. Steve Stoler reports that the homeowners have been in a legal battle with a contractor which is the reason behind the massive construction delay. He also adds homeowners in the neighborhood would be fine with the unusually large home, but if it were actually finished! It seems as if the owners of the nearby 2 story cookie cutter homes around the lego-looking mansion would be swell if the home was finished and occupied. But that's not the case, and resolution doesn't seem to be in the near future. The manse sits on 2 acres at the corner of Fisher Drive and Rogers Road, a weird place for this type of home. Maybe its just my own intuition, but these aerials of the home seem to indicate that it's a little bigger than 7,400 sq. feet...again, maybe it's just me, but...you be the judge.
