I found last year's Christmas table pictures and thought of sharing them with you for some more inspiration. Here are my 7 tips for a Perfect Christmas Table.

Use different size jars to create heigt.

Use jarras de alturas diferentes e brinque com as diferentes alturas.

Choose a lot of green mixed with just 1 or 2 color for the flowers
(it's Christmas table not a spring table)

Opte por misturar muito verde e apenas 1 ou 2 cores para as flores
(é uma mesa de natal, e não uma mesa primavera!)

Instead of the typical Christmas tablecloth as is not always an example of good taste,
use a white towel instead and spread lights, ornaments and small stars in one color.
I personally love the lights option.

Em vez da típica Toalha de Natal que nem sempre é exemplo de bom gosto,
opte por uma toalha branca e espalhe luzes, estrelas e pequenos enfeites de uma só côr.
Eu pessoalmente adoro a opção das luzes.

Use small glasses with t.lights in front of each seat at the table, as if each
person would be entitled to their own light.
(little yogurt glass cups are a great recycling idea for this)

Be creative. Tree decorations can also be used on the table.
After all is where we spend most of the night...

Seja criativo. Pense que as decorações da àrvore também podem ser usadas
na mesa de Natal. Afinal é onde se passa grande parte da noite.

Set up a table just for the sweets and deserts.
It may be a sideboard or a small table support.
And never but never mix sweets with salty food to live at the same table.
They ruin each other's taste!

Monte uma mesa só para doces à parte.
Pode ser num aparador ou num pequeno móvel de apoio.
E nunca mas nunca, misture os doces a conviver com salgados na mesma mesa
eles podem arruinar os sabores uns dos outros!
7.
Put your guests or family's names in front of each seat in the table.
It makes them feel special and cared.
(I still keep the little card with my mother's name from last Christmas
she spent with us on earth)

Coloque os nomes dos convidados ou da família em cada lugar.
É um detalhe que vai fazê-los sentir especiais.
(Eu ainda guardo o cartão com o nome da minha mãe, do último natal dela)
