Hello Beautiful friends, today I wanted
to talk a little about me, it’s about that time you all get to know a little about
who I am and what my personal decorating style is.  It’s time for me to share a little of myself
with you. I guess it’s always hard to put myself out there because  doing so I’m opening
myself up for some criticism and that’s

My dining room Journey Progress

Hello friends a few months back I asked if you
would come along with me on my dining room journey while I redecorate it. 

I think it’s only fair to show you my progress
as I move along. First let me tell you things have not gone as planed as I always
know it's a possibility things wont go as smooth as I will like. Let me tell you my friend I thought I would be all but

Why I love Blue and Green toguether- Porque é que gosto tanto da mistura do azul com verde.

I have come to realize that all shades of blue and green are definitely my favorite. Ever since I was a Little girl I used to watch my mother paint and she only painted the ocean. Most of the times her clothes had blue and green spills from those shades. Some of her ocean paintings decorate the walls of my 3 houses. I need them around and I precious them.

Embora tenha sempre muitos tons favoritos dependendo das tendências, cheguei à conclusão que todos os azuis e verdes são os meus favoritos absolutos!! Desde que era pequena e que via a minha mãe pintar o mar. Havia sempre manchas de azul ou verde nas roupas dela, mesmo usando um avental. Em todas as minhas casas tenho um quadro dela todos sobre o mar. Preciso deles por perto. São todos em tons de azuis e verdes e são preciosos para mim.

The ocean has always been a frequent source of inspiration for many industries, beauty, fashion, interior design, books, fabrics, wallpaper, cosmetics, spas, beauty treatments you name it. 

This is my favorite beauty product ever , and it's ocean inspired and if there is some investment a girl can do on herself this is it! I have used it for ever!

O Mar com os seus fabulosos tons de azul e verde, sempre foram uma inspiração para muitas indústrias, a da moda, a da cosmética, o design de interiores, livros, papel de parede, tecidos... enfim...

Este é o espoente máximo da inspiração do mar em cosmética, que aliás está também presente na sua constituição. É o meu produto de beleza favorito de sempre e se existe um investimento de beleza que todas as mulheres deveriam fazer, é este! 

Eu uso-o há muito tempo e adoro!

Blue dresses, shoes or jewelery are my favorite ever. Whenever I can't decide on the colour of something when I'm buying it I always end up buying the blue or the green one!!

Vestidos azuis, sapatos ou acessórios em azul ou verde são sempre os meus favoritos. Se quando vou às compras não consigo decidir a côr, claro que acabo sempre com a opção verde ou azul!!

I collect Blue vases since I was 19 years old. Some of these I had them for ever and traveled from house to house. These two were my mother's last present to me before she died. I absolutely precious them too.

Eu colecciono jarras e objectos de vidro azul desde os meus 19 anos. Tenho algumas delas há tanto tempo que viajaram nos caixotes de quase todas as mudanças de casa que fiz! Estas duas são as minhas mais preciosas pois foram o último presente que recebi da minha mãe antes de falecer.

This was my birthday party invitation about 5 years ago. I always pick themes and this one was the 'blue party' and all decor was blue and green in the house.

Este foi o convite que o artista do meu marido fez para a minha festa de anos de há 5 anos atráz. Eu escolho sempre um tema e esta foi a 'blue party'. A decoração para a festa também foi toda feita em azul e verde.

Apartment Update ...

I've been in my little apartment for a couple of months now and I forget that it's still early days. 

Last night I had my housewarming and introduced my new place to new friends. 

They all had really lovely things to say but I kept saying "it's no where near looking how I want it to be" 

and their response was stop making apologies for it! 

But you, my fellow interiors enthusiasts would understand what I'm saying correct?

It was a big step for me to open up my "unfinished" house at this point, 

so I decided to go ahead and post some updated pics of My First Little {Perth} Place for you.

 It's a shame the big electrical box is on the wall in the dining room (who does that?) 

but that's what you get with a rental!

The Bedroom ...

 

 The bedroom, though I want to keep it serene and in the lighter colours I really want to 

keep layering this room. Texture, warmth with a small pop of colour.

On the search for things for the wall .... I would love a Juju hat above the bed!

 

 This is my cheapie chest of drawers that I will be swapping out very soon next to my favourite chair. 

I'm looking for my inspiration for a cushion for the chair.

Every now
and then real life hits and were forced to do the things were not ready to do.
Today is one of those days. You know', when being real is relevant. Friends I have
to admit that life isn’t always pretty and the frustration that comes with it

Come With Me On My Dining Room Journey

Well I'm ready to tackle that old room redo project I call my dining room, I guess after living in my home for over 6 years and doing countless of other people homes I thought that it was finally time for me to get my honey to do list out.
So I decided to finally decorate my dinning room. So I was hoping you wouldn't mind going on that journey with me.  Now here's the deal I'm hoping this

Christmas around the house!

Today is a holiday in Portugal so I stayed home and before seating in front of the computer to work in so many stuff (concept boards, answering interviews, emails, and working on my next project for the show) I decided to take some pictures of the Christmas decorations around the house. This is what I came up with. I hope to inspire you for decorating your house.

Hoje é Feriado em Portugal mas embora tenha ficado em casa, tive de me sentar em frente ao computador a trabalhar numa enorme pilha de coisas que tenho para fazer (concept boards de clientes, responder a entrevistas, emails e trabalhar no meu próximo projecto para o Querido Mudei a Casa, enfim... só de pensar fiquei cansada! ;))) Mas antes de começar decidi pegar na máquina e tirar umas fotos às decorações de Natal cá de casa para vos inspirar. Foi este o resultado. Espero que gostem.
