Good morning, lovely readers. This apartment in Linnestaden, Sweden is in a building that was completed in 1900. Youthful, bright and happy. Come on in.

Bright Apartment in Sweden

Full of beans today so we'll have a second post. I'd love you to see this bright and youthful apartment in Linnestaden, Sweden. No Christmas decorations here, I'm afraid.

All images are from real estate agency Alvhem. Remember that once they've sold this property the images are no longer available.

Renovated Home in Spain

Spanish designer Luisa Montes is responsible for these interiors, mixing classic and contemporary styles. This renovated home is located in San Sebastián in the north of Spain and was built in 1929.

An antique Kilim rug from Iran, defines the reading area which benefits from the natural light streaming in through the balcony doors.

The painting by Andres Nagel in the dining room set the colour palette for these rooms. White walls, grey fabrics and black gauze curtains.

Another antique Kilim rug lies before the chaise longue in one of the halls.

In the same hall two reproductions of English oak armchairs stand under a portrait by Thyra de Ullman.

Wishbone chairs in the kitchen. A bit too modern and minimalist for my taste.
