A Frozen Christmas * Um Natal Gelado

By the time you read this post I will be arriving at the cold winter of Canada to be with my family, meet with some old friends and also to visit a new clients project I'll be working in 2014. I have three words for this TOO-MUCH-EXCITEMENT!!

I'll be posting almost everyday unless the hotel Internet decides to fail on me so keep in touch and I'll keep you posted on my tryp! This is going to be a lot of fun cause we don't have snow in Portugal!

Oh... and please, if you have any suggestions for things to do, places to visit, or restaurants around Toronto do please let me know!

Por altura em que estiverem a ler este post, eu já devo estar a caminho do frio Inverno Canadiano para passar o Natal com a minha família que vive em Toronto, rever alguns amigos de longa data e também visitar um novo projecto que vou fazer em 2014 - imaginem! Para tudo isto só tenho estas palavras.  Excitamento-em-doses-descontroladas!

Embora de férias prometo que vou estar por aqui quase todos os dias, a menos que a internet Canadiana me pregue alguma partida! 

Ah ... e por favor, se tiverem alguma sugestão de coisas para fazer, lugares para visitar, ou restaurantes nos arredores de Toronto, aceitam-se sugestões!

Vacation Please * Férias Por Favor!

I’ve been seriously craving a retreat somewhere warm, quiet and peaceful lately.  I do need a vacation like no one’s business. It’s been a really tough couple of months for me and I feel like I’m wearing all my nerve endings on the outside of my body. 

The weather sucks in this country right now so I decided to run away for a couple of days to a much warmer place in the planet! Well actually this is the week I always run away and anticipate some sun tan! This year I will not be going to Miami. My husband forbid me to go to a place where I would be running from store to store and visiting furnishing or fabric stores! He is taking me somewhere where I will probably be chained to a beach bed, only to be unlocked to go to dinner somewhere less than a mile away... By the time you read this I will probably be gone to a place like this! yay!

But wait...I won't be away from the blog if you think you got rid of me!! I'm taking all technology with me... Helllllp! He wants to 'unplug' me! As if I could go anywhere in the world ( iphone, ipad and mac book).

Estou com uma séria e desesperada necessidade de fugir para um retiro calmo e quente. Quando chego a esta altura do ano, preciso de férias como ninguém! Desde o final de Fevereiro, que tenho vivido em permanente estado de stress, extremo cansaço, doente... e sinto que ando a usar todos os recursos alternativos dos nervos do meu corpo!

Bom, o tempo em Lisboa, é a porcaria que se vê portanto, quando lerem isto, provavelmente já fugi para local bem longe e bem quente! Não, este ano não vou para Miami, que o meu marido proibiu-me de ir para qualquer sítio onde pudesse acabar a correr de loja em loja e a arranjar argumentos para visitar lojas de tecidos ou decoração! Desta vez quer levar-me para um sítio onde me possa acorrentar a uma cadeira de praia, e só a tira para ir jantar a um restaurante a menos de 200 metros. 

Quando lerem este post concerteza já terei fugido para um sítio como este!... Mas esperem! Não pensem que se livram de mim, porque eu vou levar a tecnologia toda (iphone, ipad, portatil...) e vou dando notícias no blogue! Ele queria desligar-me do mundo, mas não conseguem!! Ha!

Sani Beach Resort?...Please take me there!

They are announcing a very cold weekend for Portugal 35*F (a little uncommon out here because we hardly go below 40*F...) so all I think about is warm sunny getaways, hotels and resorts. I found this one the other day and saved it on my favorites list to a future escape and thought of sharing it with you.  It's called Sani Beach Resort and it's at Halkidiki peninsula in Greece. Love the shades used in the bedrooms. I could totally stay there for- like-evah!

Depois de anunciarem esta frente fria para o fim de semana, pouco comum no nosso país, só consigo pensar em destinos quentes, hoteis e resorts. Encontrei um dos hotéis que tinha gravado na minha pasta dos 'Favoritos para Escapadela Futura'. Chama-se Sani Beach Resort e fica na peninsula de Halkidiki na Grécia. Adoro os tons usados nos quartos e acreditem que podia viver nestes quartos para sempre!
