Celeb R.E.: Kourtney Kardashian Lists Calabasas Home and Purchases Keyshawn Johnson's Calabasas Home

I am about 11 days late (January 17, 2014) this rumor but got to post it anyway because everyone and their mom is talking about it so cant be left out even though I dont understand how the Kardashian clan is still popular and relevant in pop culture. The news officially broke out by Domainehome.com which revealed that Kourtney Kardashian has decided to list her Calabasas mansion after interior designer, Jeff Andrews, finished decorating this fall. 

The home measures 4 Beds/4.5 Baths on 5,400 sqft on a total lot size of 0.52 acres built in 2004 in the exclusive guard-gated Oaks of Calabasas. The home was first listed on January 22, 2014 for $3,499,000 with the following listing description:

East Coast traditional view estate within the prestigious guard-gated Oaks of Calabasas. Dramatically re-imagined by celebrity interior designer Jeff Andrews, and recently featured in several design publications, the home affords approx. 5400 Sq. Ft. The open floor plan provides an entry breezeway and courtyard with detached office/library including built-in book cases and fireplace. The breathtaking formal living room is enhanced by vaulted ceilings. Formal dining room offers wine storage and overlooks the city views. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with all Wolf appliances, 4 dishwasher drawers, cappuccino maker and opens up to the spacious breakfast area and family room. Rear grounds have a pool, spa, and covered loggia all showcasing the jetliner city views beyond.

Kardashian originally purchased this home on December 3, 2010 for $1.7 million which if sold at today's asking price, translates into a massive gain of $1,799,000 (before any expenses) for barely three years of living in the home. Let's see how long it takes and at what price point for this home to sell.

Kardashian indicated to Domainehome.com that the reason for the listing is to move on and try a new project. Lo and behold a couple of days later and Eonline.com reported that Kardashian was purchasing former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson's 6 Bed/7.75 bath on 11,746 sqft on a total lot size of 1.86 acres mansion (shown above) also in the Oaks of Calabasas for an unknown price which should make moving easier. Johnson has been trying to sell this property since 2011 when it first popped up for $11,995,000 and was removed from the MLS on December 31, 2013 with a list price of $8,495,000. Once the sale price is published, this post will be updated with the latest news. And for a history lesson, Kardashian lived in a smaller Calabasas prior to the purchase of the home mentioned in this post. She purchased the home for $829,000 on July 28, 2006 and sold on July 1, 2010 for $700,000 taking a $129,000 loss. The home measures 3 Beds/2.5 Baths on 2,245 sqft on a total lot size of 6,516 sqft built in 1987 (pictures shown below). Kardashian's Dash Store

Still on the Kardashian mood from yesterday's post, the beautifull new DASH store also from Jeff Andrew's Portfolio. 

A pretty awsome all white store, with black and gold accent details. I love it! If I had a clothing store this would probably be my option. 

I had the oportunity to visit the old store when I was in Miami the and it was not that a, actually I was a bit dissapointed . This one is a major upgrade!

Ainda no tema do post de ontem e também do portfolio do talentoso Jeff Andrews, esta é a nova loja DASH  das manas kar-DASH-shians... (adoro o nome)!

Linda esta nova loja toda em base branca com apontamentos em preto e dourado. Adoro! Se  tivesse uma loja de roupa esta seria provavelmente a minha opção.  

Tive a oportunidade de visitar a antiga loja na primeira vez que estive em Miami e o sentimento que tive foi um mega ora bolas!  Era pequena, sem grande glamour e com um aspecto datado. Esta sim é outra coisa!

Celebrity Rooms - Kourtney Kardashian

I started by finding the work of designer Jeff Andrews when I saw photos of Mom Kardashian's new house. Okay, I must confess now! I do watch 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' pretty much since first series of the show. I must tell you that amuses me greatly, from the most futile moments to the most nonsense ones. 
 
The truth is they are a family like any other, with all the dramas, joys, quarrels, divorces, weddings, parties, holidays and more or less interesting lives, but living in Hollywood. Actually contrary to what people think, the Armenian descendant girls, were already rich and lived in the midst of luxury. And they allready had Jobs.

Of course their lives changed a lot with all the tv and media attention, including the houses where they live today. They are bigger, more luxurious and sophisticated.This is Kourtney's house in Calabasas, who had free will to use all the color he wanted and make every room filled with interesting pieces and impact.

His work is amazing and I would dare to say that each room seems to have been designed as if it were a scenario, but of course, after all they make a television show at home, don't they?! ...

Comecei por encontrar o trabalho do decorador Jeff Andrews quando vi fotos da nova casa da mamã Kardashian. Pronto, eu confesso! Eu vejo o Keeping Up With The Kardashians desde a primeira série e devo dizer-vos que me diverte imenso, desde os momentos mais fúteis até aos mais nonsense. E quem nunca viu, que atire a primeira pedra!

A verdade é que são uma família como outra qualquer, com dramas, alegrias, zangas, divórcios, casamentos, festas, férias e vidas mais ou menos interessantes, tendo em conta que vivem em Hollywood, e ao contrário do que as pessoas pensam, as meninas de descendência arménia, sempre foram ricas e sempre viveram no meio do luxo, mas todas trabalham desde a adolescência..

Claro que a vida delas terá mudado muito com tanto mediatismo, e tanta gente em 'cima delas', nomeadamente as casas onde vivem que hoje em dia são ainda maiores, mais luxuosas e sofisticadas. 

E esta é a casa da Kourtney, em Calabasas, e que deu carta branca ao decorador para arrojar na cor, e conceber espaços repletos de impacto e peças interessantes. Arriscava dizer que cada divisão parece ter sido concebida como se fosse um cenário, mas claro, afinal elas fazem um programa de televisão em casa!...

 

Curiosamente a decoração de Interiores e o design, são grandes paixões da Kourtney. De todas, ela é talvez a mais serena e equilibrada, e temos de admitir que tem uma família linda!

As minhas divisões favoritas são o quarto da Penelope e a sala de Jantar, e a vossa?

Kim and Kourtney moving in a Miami house

For temporaray Kim and Kourtney are going to a Miami property which is a luxurious home.For this temporary home Kim kardashians pays almost $6 million dollars on that she stay only for three months.

When it comes to new editions of their hit E! franchises Kim Kardashianand and Kourtney Kardashian have no tendency of slowing things low. According to a report of TMZ, a massive mansion in the Florida city  are picking up by the two reality shows stars valued at just under $6 million.  In the Mediterranean style mansion while filming their upcoming reality TV show, Kim and Kourtney Take Miami.
In Miami when they filmed there first spin-off show the ladies changed their terms and conditions when they stayed in hotels. However Kourtney who is the mother of two children for that she is clearly decided to stay a more homely environment for her family.No doubt that

Homely Kourtney`s young son, Mason will be like the miami homes that has boasts six bedrooms, six and a-half bathrooms and over 5,000 square feet of land as well as a swimming pool. With room for a 100 boat it also features an attached dock, which the Kardashians may well take advantage of.
The DiLido Island house is not the Kardashian's first shot at filming in single family home on Miami Beach known according to Belle Isle Blog. The crew already tried  tried a pad on exclusive North Bay Road and to get permission from neighbors of a home in the Sunset Islands.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Houses, Part III

Soon-to-be Baby Mama Kourtney Kardashian came home Saturday night to find out her Calabasas, CA, home had been burglarized.  More than $100,000 worth of watches and jewelry were reportedly stolen, including vintage jewelry left to her by her deceased dad (famed attorney Robert Kardashian), a Cartier watch valued at $30,000, and a Rolex watch belonging to her boyfriend/Baby Daddy Scott Disick.

Kourtney was partying in Vegas the night before at her sister Kim's birthday bash, but was already back in town before the burglary occurred.  She went out for an early dinner with her Baby Daddy-to-be and discovered the burglary upon her return.

Kourtney lives in a 2200+ sq. ft., 2BR/3BA townhouse condo in this gated community (below):

So we wanna know WHO LEFT THE GATE OPEN?!!  Or was this an inside job?

Whatever the case may be, we're sorry for Kourtney that it happened.

UPDATE:  TMZ just ran a story questioning whether it was an inside job.
