Um Natal Rústico E Perfeito * A Perfect Rustic Christmas

Today I have to share with you this perfect setting for the holiday season that has not only one, not two, not three but six Christmas trees! LoL! Now you would think that is too many but it actually looks nice.

For someone who does not love the rustic style like me, I tell you that I love this one. Because it well balanced. The emphasis is on the rough wood of the walls and everything else is nice and light so it that to balance the dark wood and heavy walls...

I can picture myself lighting that fire and sitting on the couch drinking hot chocolate! Can't you?!

***

Apetece acender a lareira e sentar no sofá a beber chocolate quente! Não acham?!

Até Amanhã

Christmas in Stockholm

The Bromberg Sehlberg family live in this beautiful apartment on a quiet avenue in Östermalm in Stockholm. In their previous apartment, red had been the predominant colour for their Christmas decoration. It had lots of energy, but this year they felt they needed a really restful place and chose to tone down the colors on the walls and furnishings. The result: a soft Christmas with elements of natural colors.

Franska fåtöljer, bergèrer, i nyrokoko.

Have a great weekend, my friends, and come back tomorrow!

Romantic Christmas in England

Jake and Kate Forman live in this fairy-like cottage cottage in London. And continuing with our Christmas inspiration, this time with pink, romantic and feminine floral patterns in every room.

Chirstmas in the Air #2

This is my second (and I'm sure it will not be the last) Christmas inspired post of the year. Previous posts here and last year's posts can be found here, here, here, and this post which is particularly lovely and has a beautiful, very simple and original decoration craft for my crafty friends. There is also a floating Christmas tree if you'd like to see it.

Located on the outskirts of Madrid, this is a decidedly fun house. The owners, Carlos Arriaga who is a painter and photographer and his wife, an interior designer, created a cheerful home full of fun ideas. Tour time, sweets!

An original Christmas tree stands by one of the living room's big windows.

In nearly every room of the house you will see framed photographs and paintings by owner Carlos Arriaga.

The round side table was purchased in Florence, Italy.

A collection of four mirrors in different styles above the white console table.

A Charles IV chest and a Wassily chair for this reading nook.

Very lovely but highly unpractical white rug by the entrance door.

A more traditional Christmas tree in a corner of the kitchen's dining area.

The all white kitchen comes alive with bursts of shocking pink.

Plenty of storage room at the foot of the master bed.

Painting by Esteban Arriaga.

Contemporary lines in the bathroom.

Happy smiling faces.
