Embora achasse que dos 10 pré escolhidos pela pantone como tons a usar na primavera o vencedor para a cor do ano fosse o DAZZLING BLUE, um azul cobalto lindo. Acho que esta foi uma bela escolha que adoro usar com azuis e cinzas!

Hello friends happy Tuesday its one of those times when I can't help but crush on a particular color and today I'm crushing on the color coral. I don't know why but it hit me and I think I'm in love. Coral in home decor is all the rave right now and I'm falling right in line with it. I can remember my first apartment was blue, white and coral and the coral I was sporting in my home was coral

I always loved this color combination. Specially that antique shade of green mixed with pale rose, and mint green or jade green are becoming my new obsessions.

On the first day of the Year! - The Color for 2012 elected by Pantone

And what better way to start the year than with the color chosen for 2012! It is all all over blog world, but here in Portugal I think not everyone knows what was the color chosen by Pantone in 2012. Remember Honeysucle from last year? Well for this year we continue to be encouraged by Pantone to face the year with a vibrant color, warm and even seductive that aims to give us a boost of energy and vigor. According to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the brand this color; "Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy."

I confess It's not a first choise for me when it comes to interior design but I do love it paired with my favorite shades; turquoise, light blue or lilac!

E nada melhor para começar o ano do que com a côr eleita para 2012! Já está por tudo o que é blog estrangeiro, mas cá em Portugal acho que nem todos sabem qual foi a côr eleita pela pantone para 2012. Lembram-se do Honeysucle do ano passado? Pois este ano continuamos a ser encorajados pela Pantone a encarar o ano com uma côr vibrante, quente e até sedutora que tem como objectivo nos dar um boost de energia e vigor. Monochromatic color schemes are based off of a single color. In my opinion a
monochromatic color scheme- looks most interesting when different materials are
used. Pairing monochromatic with different patterns and textures but all
with the same underlined color with a subdued, sophisticated, and harmonious
look brings monochromatic alive.

This is bold design at its best. The designer who designed this room went for the jugular and brought it home. When I was researching bold interiors I came across this lovely design done by panacheinteriors and boy was I impressed with this design. If you were afraid of going bold before. If nothing else I’m sure this room boosts your confidence.
