It's allways a 'wow moment' when we find our work recognized by people from the other side of the world! 

This time my office featured in the South Asian Zardozi Magazine, an article about office details and next to one of my reference decorators Kishani Perera! Zardozi is a beautifully done online project worth the visit (here).

É sempre um 'momento wow' quando vemos o nosso trabalho reconhecido por pessoas que são do outro lado do mundo!! 

Desta vez foi o meu escriório na Revista Zardozi, num artigo sobre detalhes num escritório, e mesmo ao lado de um trabalho da Kishani Perera, uma das minhas referências na decoração. Wow! Zardozi é um projecto online muito bem feito e que valo e pena visitar (aqui).

Querido Mudei A Casa Tv Show #22.08 - Before & After - Baby 'B'

After re-run week of the nursery's episode, I can finally show you all the photos so you are able to see all the details.

The aim was to design a space that could grow with baby Bernardo, where originality started in the wallpaper choice.

The light blues and grays were my color choice to go with the wallpaper pattern witch is clearly the protagonist in this tiny bedroom, and also the starting point for all the inspiration.

The space layout priority was given to the mother's comfort and the baby needs more essential in creating a corner for the breastfeeding mother, and a whole area of 'service station' for the baby as I like to call it.

I do love to decorate baby rooms and always leave a special message that he will day be able to read in future days... 'Happy thoughts can make you fly'.

Depois de terminada a semana de repetições do episódio do quarto de bebé, aqui ficam as fotos para poderem ver todos os detalhes. 

O objectivo era conceber um espaço que pudesse perdurar no tempo e crescesse com o Bernardo, e onde a originalidade começou na escolha um papel de parede um pouco diferente. 

Nos tons predominam os cinzas e azuis claros e onde o padrão do papel de parede é claramente o protagonista, e o ponto de partida de toda a inspiração. 

Na distribuição do espaço a prioridade foi dada ao conforto da mãe e às necessidades mais essenciais do bebé na criação de um canto a pensar nos momentos de amamentação da mãe, e toda uma zona de 'estação de serviço' do bebé, como lhe chamo por graça. 

Adoro decorar quartos de bebé e gosto sempre de deixar uma mensagem especial para ele ler no futuro... 'Pensamentos Felizes fazem-nos voar'.

My Work on Apartment Therapy Twice?!! That is Too Nice! * O Meu Trabalho no 'Apartment Therapy', Duas Vezes?!... Que Bela novidade!

I would be nothing without my beloved blog & facebook followers who are so kind to send me links of stuff I missed like this  Apartment Therapy post, where my work was mentioned in a post about 'modern pastels'. I never even dreamed that they knew my work! ...

Thanks to Apartment Therapy and Janel Laban, the author of the article, to included me in an article that talks about how to use pastels in a modern way. If you ask me what my style is I guess that's what I am! A pastels modern girl! ... Well... let's say I also die over anything Art-Deco, have a secret passion for Hollywood Regency, and a major crush over classic female romantic pieces...

Working in the North of Portugal - A Trabalhar no Norte

I've been away with my team for the last 4 days, working on a Big project in the North of Portugal. I will tell you all about it by the end of the week but today I want to show you some snapshots of the nice modern hotel we stayed in Braga. If you ever go there, it is a very nice modern but comfortable option.

Eu e a minha equipa estivémos fora a trabalhar, nos últimos 4 dias, num grande projecto a Norte de Portugal. Conto-vos tudo para o final da semana mas para já deixo-vos algumas fotos do hotel onde ficámos porque se alguma vez forem até Braga e quiserem um hotel moderno e confortável esta é uma óptima opção.

My house in a Magazine in Norway and on House of Turquoise Blog! Nice!

No doubt in the midst of so much work and fatigue, makes me very happy when I get things like these! Again comes from outside of Portugal, which inevitably makes me more surprised when I think, with so much talent around, how in the hell did I do that !?!!... 

The first one was my house on a magazine from Norway!! And the second, my dearest 'fellow turquoise lover' Erin from HOUSE OF TURQUOISE' did a beautiful post with my Tiffanie's inspired table.

Não há duvida que pelo meio de tanto trabalho e cansaço, me deixa muito feliz quando recebo coisas destas! Mais uma vez vem de fora de Portugal, o que me deixa inevitavelmente mais surpreendida  quando penso;... com tanto talento prái, como é que raio eu fiz isto!?!!... 

A primeira foi o artigo sobre a minha casa numa revista de interiores Norueguesa na edição de Setembro da 'Bolig Drom'!  A segunda foi a minha querida parceira no amor pelo azul turquesa, a Erin do blog 'HOUSE OF TURQUOISE' que fez um post sobre a minha mesa de Natal inspirada no azul Tiffanie's.
