Westlake, Texas Gets Its First Retail Store in Town - QuikTrip!

Westlake, Texas is north Texas' shining little affluent town for this year of 2011.  Near the beginning of the year, Westlake was named by Yahoo! as the #1 Most Affluent Neighborhood in America with a median income of $250,000!  Recently, city leaders approved a plan for the famous gas station chain QuikTrip, or QT, to build its first gas station in Westlake.

Not only will it be the first gas station in Westlake, it will be the only one.  Not only the only gas station, but the only retail store.  That's right - currently, the little town contains no retail buildings!  Of course, these "small town" residents aren't your normal small town residents.  With bordering cities such as Trophy Club, Southlake, and Colleyville, yes, Westlake is perfectly located in the middle of several wealthy towns.  And of course, Westlake is known for its vibrant Mediterranean community of Vaquero.  I wonder if the QT will have diamond stocked vending machines and golden drink containers...
