Thanks to Google's new Bird's Eye program, we've been able to catch a glimpse of some of the marvelous estates all over Texas; it doesn't matter if they are in a gated community or not!  Check out this French palace at 6901 Old Homestead Road in the prestigious Mira Vista of Fort Worth.  It's owned by Steffen Palko and his wife Betsy Palko.  Mr. Palko is the retired vice chairman and president of XTO Energy.  The 16,090 sq. foot home features 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a pool, outdoor living area with fireplace, a gazebo, 4 car garage, and a whole lot more.  The estate was built in 2005 and has a $4,600,000 appraisal.
