Bay Club Mansion in Arlington, Texas - Formerly Owned by a...Mushroom Farmer?

You heard correctly, a petroleum engineer who farms mushrooms.  President of Omimex Energy, Inc., Naresh Vashisht owns several acres of mushrooms farms in Colorado producing nearly 20,000 mushrooms a week!

Revenue combined from the petroleum engineering business and the mushroom farms, you can imagine Mr. Vashisht makes some big time bucks.  According to Tarrant County records, after the pearl Georgian mansion was built in 1994, Vashisht bought the home in 1995.  Back in 2000, Neeru Vashisht, unknown relation to Naresh, purchased the home in his (her?) name, but back to Naresh soon thereafter.  Although the home is not for sale, the owner name has been changed to N & N Real Estate Investments.  A possible For Sale sign coming soon?

The 15,920 sq. foot mega enjoys scenic views of Lake Arlington, a private dock for boat, private tennis court (although Bay Club has two courts within the gates), large front porte cochere, 4 car garage, various balconies, incredible back loggia, and pool.  Although within the gates of Bay Club, the estate boasts large wrought iron gates for double protection!

It can be found at 5920 Marina Bay Court in Arlington, but don't plan on getting in unless you have a viable reason or are a resident.  Last year, the estate was appraised at $3,250,000.
