Former XTO Energy Co-Founder & CEO Bob Simpson's Massive Medieval Castle in Montserrat, Fort Worth, Texas

If you live in the north Texas area, or really in Texas, XTO Energy is no unheard term.  XTO Energy is a very prominent energy company based in Fort Worth, Texas.  The company performs business with ExxonMobil and other major oil industry pioneers.  Recently, ExxonMobil bought out XTO Energy for nearly $41 billion dollars.  After graduating from Baylor University, Simpson has become, or was, the co-founder and CEO of XTO since 1996.  This is his Montserrat castle in Fort Worth.

The medieval castle-like residence resides within the gates of Montserrat - easily one of the most exclusive communities in north Texas.  The estate amasses 12,070 sq. feet of stunning old world architecture and design - a dream house, to say the least.

Some amenities of the former oil mogul's pad include a 4 car garage with motor court, a rock-lined pool with outdoor lounge area, spiral outdoor staircase leading to 2nd floor, 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, library, wine room (with fireplace!), game room, home theater with kitchen, and a large open balcony overlooking the rolling hills of Fort Worth.  What a house!
