Too Much Focus on the Champ d'Or - Don't Forget About One of the Two Accompanying Properties!

Most real estate enthusiasts, like myself, have heard of the overpowering Champ d'Or estate in Hickory Creek, Texas off 35E and Denton Road.  Low and behold, if 48,000 sq. feet isn't enough living space for you, two accompanying properties, one across the street and one to the east, both measure approx. 12,000 and 16,000 sq. feet.  The owners of the Champ, Alan and Shirley Goldfield, still reside in the western estate directly across Turbeville.  Another contemporary/modern estate, 16,000 sq. feet, is located just to the east.

The listing for the Champ, on REALTOR.com, still says both accompanying homes can be included in the purchase; however, the 16,000 sq. foot modern home has its own listing on REALTOR which leads me to believe that the modern houses itself is for sale when at the same time, it will be included in the Champ purchase. Or maybe, now that the Champ has had some (or lots) trouble selling, the two accompanying estates have been knocked off the listing and made into their own listed property.  Did the realtor just forget to edit the Champ listing?

And if the two accompanying estates were knocked off, why can't I find a listing for the western estate directly across from the Champ?  Maybe because the Goldfields plan on living across from their built mansion?

Who knows. I guess we will see in the days, months, years to come when the Champ actually sells, if at all.
