Westlake, Texas Makes the List of Yahoo Finance's "America's Most Affluent Neighborhoods"

Yahoo! Finance published a snazzy article today titled "America's Most Affluent Neighborhoods".  Surprisingly, north Texas' little up-and-coming town Westlake made the list - not just made the list, but was placed at #1!  According to the article, the median income within the town of Westlake is approx. $250,000 - the most of any American neighborhood, again, according to Yahoo.  Highland/University Parks and Preston Hollow didn't make the list.

"It's not so much of a surprise, since we are a very small town and we have a number of highly paid professional athletes who live here, CEOs of major corporations, members of a popular band of brothers," says Laura Wheat, the mayor of the Town of Westlake. "There is no place like it." - taken from the Yahoo! article.  Undoubtedly, the prestigious community of Vaquero played a big role in helping Westlake achieve this commendable ranking.
