[Update March 25, 2013]: This home was sold on March 21, 2013 for $2,550,000 which was $145,000 less than list price but generated a $575,000 profit before taxes, commissions, carrying costs, and any other related expenses based on the $1,975,000 purchase price of April 14, 2003. We are not sure where Lord-Alge is heading to but it must be somewhere nearby as he prefers to live next to the former Can-Am Recording Studios which at one time was the home of Death Row Records. This home sale was completed in roughly 2 months time.

The latest SFV celebrity home to hit the MLS is owned by Chris Lord-Alge in Tarzana. Although not a household name and not recognized by many outside of the music industry, Lord-Alge is a double Grammy winning mixer (one for best rock album for 21st Century Breakdown in 2009 and another in 2005 for Record of the Year for Boulevard of Broken Dream) and essentially a legend who has worked with a variety of musicians and bands. His wikipedia and personal website reads like a Who's Who of the music industry. There are too many to list that ALLmusic.com lists 1,039 and counting credits (as of January 2013). Aside from having a cool last name, Lord-Alge has worked with such prominent stars like David Bowie, Green Day, Dave Matthews Band, Stevie Nicks, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Sum 41, Prince, Joe Cocker, Peter Frampton, James Brown, Bon Jovi, Phil Collins, and Madonna.
In addition to living in Tarzana, Chris Lord-Alge owns the infamous Can-Am Studios in Tarzana that was once used by Death Row Records in the mid-nineties. Prior to that Chris Lord-Alge was working at Resonate Studios in Burbank.
The Tarzana home measures 6 Bed/6 Baths on 5,487 sqft on a total lot size of 1.03 acres built in 1995. According to the listing:

Chris Lord-Alge purchased this home for $1,975,000 on April 14, 2003 which was listed on January 16, 2013 for $2,695,000. If the home sold at the current listing price, Lord-Alge would earn a $720,000 gain before taxes, commissions, fees, carrying costs, and any renovation expenses.
Prior to this home, it appears that Chris Lord-Alge lived in Bell Canyon but I cannot confirm so dont quote me. We are not sure where Lord-Alge is heading to next but I suspect somewhere in the SFV like Encino, Calabasas, or Hidden Hills has he prefers to be next to his Tarzana studio in order to spend more time with his family.
